We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool that we host ourselves, to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, where visitors come from, the type of browser and device, the country, how fast pages load, whether you play as a guest or with an account, your interface language, and anonymous game events such as a game being created or joined. For a small sample of visits, Umami also records how the page is used (clicks, scrolling, page changes) to produce session replays and heatmaps; every piece of text and everything you type is masked, the login and sign-up forms are never recorded, and recordings are deleted after 30 days. Umami does not use cookies, does not store your IP address, and we never attach your username, email or user id to any of this. This data is not shared with or sold to anyone.
